Favorite competition "fastest Zurich fish"

Sophia Walker wins the "De schnällscht Zürifisch" on April 11, 2026

The "schnällscht Zürifisch" is a mass-participation school event competition organized by the Zurich School Sports Department. Around 600 students from Zurich took part in the final day in Oerlikon. Students from grades 1 to 6 from various schools in Zurich. Sophia Walker competes here for her school Entlisberg in Wollishofen. Sophia goes into this final day as the favorite. It is Sophia Walker's 4th fastest Zurich Fish event. Almost 4 years ago, her swimming journey began here. That is why this major event is always a very special one close to her heart. Cheered on by schoolmates, swimming companions, family, and acquaintances, Sophia reaches the final. She wins the final race with a time of 29.89 seconds.

Sophia's note: Best event, best atmosphere, achieved the set goal of swimming under 30 seconds.
